What do I need to get started? You can register for Online Banking immediately if you have the following: A computer, a modem, Internet access and a recommended version browser. In order to meet FirstMerit's high security standards, the following versions of browsers are strongly recommended: Netscape Navigator 6.2, Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.5, or Mozilla Firefox 2.0 or later versions. (Beta versions are not supported.) In order to register for Online Banking, you will be prompted to input your account number, social security number and e-mail address, as well as name and address information. You may then select a User Name and Password of your choice. Once we have processed your registration, you will be able to view your qualifying account information!
