• How to Setup ACH Tax Payments

    FirstMerit e-Connect allows you to easily setup ACH Tax Payments. To begin, click the ACH tab.
  • Click the Tax link.
  • Click the Manage Tax Types tab.
  • Click the New Tax Type button.
  • Select a Tax Form from the Add Federal Tax Type list box.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Click the New Tax Type button.
  • Select a state from the Add State Tax Type list box.
  • Then select a State Tax Type.
  • Click the Add button.
  • Click the Done button.
  • Click the Templates tab.
  • Click the New Template button.
  • Select a Company from the Company Name drop down.
  • Enter a Template Name, Company Description and click the Add Entry button.
  • Select an Entry from the Add Entry drop down.
  • Enter a Taxpayer Identification Number.
  • Enter or select a Tax Period End Date.
  • Enter a Tax Amount.
  • Click the Add Entry button.
  • The Add Tax Payment page will be displayed.
  • Scroll down and click the Save Template button.
  • The Tax Payment Templates page will be displayed.
  • Scroll down to view the new Tax Payment Business Template.
