• How set up new ACH Templates

    FirstMerit e-Connect allows you to easily create new ACH Templates. To begin, click the ACH tab.
  • Click the Templates tab.
  • Click the New Template button.
  • Select a Company Name from the drop down.
  • Select a Batch Type from the drop down.
  • Enter a Template Name.
  • Select a Repeating frequency from the drop down.
  • Select/enter the number of occurrences.
  • Enter a Company Description.
  • Select a Template Scope.
  • Click the Add Entry button.
  • Enter the Participant Name.
  • Enter a Bank Name.
  • Click the Search button.
  • Select a bank from the Bank Lookup Results.
  • Click the Insert Bank Info button.
  • Enter an Identification #.
  • Enter an Account #.
  • Check the Add Participant to Managed List checkbox.
  • Enter an Amount.
  • Click the Add Entry button to add the Participant.
  • Click the Add Entry button to add another Participant.
  • Enter a Participant Name.
  • Enter a Bank Name.
  • Click the Search button.
  • Select a bank from the Bank Lookup Results.
  • Click the Insert Bank Info button.
  • Enter an Identification #.
  • Enter an Account #.
  • Select an Account Type from the drop down.
  • Check the Add Participant to Managed List checkbox.
  • Enter an Amount.
  • Click the Add Entry button.
  • Click the next Add Entry button.
  • Click the Managed Participants button.
  • Click the Insert button.
  • Enter an Amount.
  • Click the Add Entry button.
  • Click the Save Template button.
  • The ACH Template is complete.
